The Dichotomy Between Sundays and Mondays

Sundays are for: fried chicken, potatoes, lazy mornings, Target runs, bubble baths, candles galore, moon-lit walks, hanging out with animals, cuddles, and r e s t o r a t i o n

Mondays are for: sleep deprivation, rude awakenings, tired eyes, endless coffee, checking out the full moon on your way to work, forgetting everything you need, and s t r u g g l e

It’s been a rough morning, people. After a good weekend. A REALLY good weekend. It was filled with Isaac’s first zoo trip – aren’t animals fun? Good southern food. Naps. Cuddles. The works.

Today, however, has been a bummer so far. But do you know why I am okay with a bummer day? Because it makes the good ones that much sweeter. Plus, in the long run, you remember the good ones. The lollipop pictures. The first zoo trips. The laughter.
